It is difficult to pin point a single moment when there is the true feeling of happiness.
I find that I am happiest in many different moments that it is difficult to just pick one. The obvious ones would be spending time with my family or by myself, with my animals, listening to my music and drawing/writing/painting, below is more of in depth description of each of these.
When listening to my music and drawing, it takes the stress, worries, fears, and any unwanted emotions (anger and frustration, sadness, and any others there many be) away. Focusing more on the music than what I am drawing causes me to be less of a perfectionist, a small "downfall" for me, and not stress the little things in the drawing, thus calming me down. Drawing with music is a moment when I am able to express myself and be happy.
*Take note that I put the word downfall in quotes, it was to emphasis the point that depending on how you looked at it, it may not actually be a downfall. Since a downfall is defined as a ruin and a loss of power, being a perfectionist may not be a downfall. My definition of perfectionist is someone who tries to achieve perfect, even though it doesn't exist, and by doing this they are striving to do better, to achieve something greater.
When spending time with my family or by myself, I am very happy. I am one of those people who enjoy being alone but do not want to be lonely, if that makes sense. My family is very humorous which makes the times we spend together quite fun. I consider my friends to be family, especially if they have been there for me when I needed them. Sometimes just being around them is able to puts me in a better mood.
Just spending time with animals makes me happy. Cuddling them on the couch, working on homework with them, listening to their little heart beats as I use them as a pillow and knowing that they
unconditionally love me just like I love them. Animals are unable to judge, as far as we know, so around them there isn't any pressure to do better, or to be "perfect". I just hope that I am the person my animals think I am.
