For my set of three, I decided to make nesting bowls. I wasn't able to foot these ones, there were too dry and seemed to keep getting off center.
This is a bowl I made the other day that was just finished being glazed. I glazed it with a base coat of white. The white runs a lot so I wanted to do what I've done before and make it varying shades of the color I choose. But also, since the white runs a lot it should create drips or lines down. For the color over the white, I choose a color called "Sydney's Blue". This will be the first time I've used that. I also choose a shadow green and a mystery blue. I've used both those colors before and liked how they turned out. This is the Frankenpot the group I'm in is making. The bottom piece was made by Daniella, the middle by myself, and the top by Carolina. We're not sure how we want to glaze it, or at least we haven't talked about it. I think our Frankenpot so far is turning out nicely. It'll be done being fire either today or tomorrow. It was glazed the other day and should be out this week. |
