This is the final photo for of my Positive Message poster. We were tasked with creating colorful and somewhat different posters that had a positive message for Mount Si High School.
My tools included a regular pencil, colored pencils, ruler, and final draft paper.
The skills I would say that I strengthened would be creating a 3-Dimensional drawing of an object and shading it.
Below is a collage of the process of creating the poster, although I didn't get a few pictures from the very beginning.

I can emphasis large shapes that activate the space on the poster that combines iconic imagery with type.
5: I would give myself a five for this because all of my shapes are basically filling the space. I think the blank space I do have just makes the imagery and type stand out more.
I can choose imagery that is simple sting and evocative of my message.

I can choose a design and type that expresses an idea, feeling, or mood which is positive.
4: I would give myself a four because I could have picked a more happy and bubbly color.
I can choose a type style and reproduce it accurate and doesn't leave much blank space.
5: I would give myself a five because my type doesn't leave much space. I think, the way I drew it, if I had drawn the type any larger it wouldn't have looked right,
I can choose a media that also suits the message of the poster,
4: I would give myself a four because my media does suit the message. I probably should have picked brighter colors though.
