Tools: I used a variety of my graphite pencils, an eraser, and a picture for reference.
Skills strengthened and improved on: The ability to draw a variety of subjects and shading.
The Back story: A while back I had seen a photo of a chihuahua looking much like this one does. I thought it was humorous and adorable considering most chihuahuas do believe they are a very tough breed of dog. I must say though, the resemblance to Diego is uncanny. :) This was drawn on December 21, 2013. Tools: I used a variety of my graphite pencils, an eraser, and a picture for reference. On the left is the picture I used to draw it, on the right is my drawing. And in case you're wondering the drawing I did is the teddy bear fighting off the evil monsters that hide under our bed and things of that nature and the little line over it like an inch from the sword is the force field that's protecting the little kid. In my opinion, teddy bears always made me feel safer for some reason. This was done on July 28, 2013. This is another picture I saw online and decided to draw. The kitty turned out fine until I attempted the feet, those I couldn't draw so I just made a boarder around the cat and left that out. This was done 12/19/13. We all know the Disney Princesses, this is Ariel the little mermaid. I drew her when I saw a picture drawn by someone else that I figured that I could draw too. zi used the graphite pencils, I forget which ones. This was done November 29, 2013.
My friend, Rachel, had drawn a pair of lips in black and white. When I home I decided to try and draw a pair myself. First I just used my graphite, I believe, pencils then decided to use the colored pencils that my Grandma bought for me over the summer to add some colors. Possibly make them.... pop more for say. My mom says that they look 3D. This was drawn 11/25/13.
