During LA 9 Honors, my teacher explained that once he reached 10 on his fingers the whole class would have to write a paragraph about one thing that night due the next day. He reached 10, so here's my "paragraph" abut something beautiful, cool, or important that I have seen or heard this week.
I was having so much trouble with figuring something out, then it hit me. Hello! I just went to an assembly that had the Cheerleader's and some football team members helping kids who learn slower than others, or with a mental illness for lack of better words, get out there and be a part of the school. They even went and brought out these three kids giving them a huge welcome and doing a cheer with them! It was really different, and astounding, because most people don't realize how much they can actually do to change something in someone else's life. For example, a Mom on the video we watched was saying that her son was rejected at every table, until a "popular jock" said, "Hey, come sit with us." It's that easy and most people don't even realize that, I hate to say it but, because we are becoming so absorbed in our own problems we don't stop to think about someone else. It's just really astonishing when we finally do.
