A helping hand, helping some one up when their down. In fact, just being there for someone can change that persons whole perceptive on life. I have read multiple books, and little things on Facebook. Some that I remember most, is this one , On a Friday this kid was walking down the street carrying all of his books. This bullies ran by him and knocked the books down, a guy walking down the other side, walked across the street and helped him pick up all of his books. They began talking as walking. Every Friday the same kid had all of those books, and again the guy who had first picked them up to help him would could and talk. The guy who had helped him later found out, on the day of Graduation for them, that the kid who had his books smacked out of his hands was actually going to commit suicide. But he decided not to, because of this kid who took the time to help him out and talk to him. His parents looked at the boy who had helped him and just smiled. The boy, the one who had his books knocked out of his hands, had finished High School with great grades, and friends.
So see? Just helping someone out, or even smiling could help someone. Another thing I read was this, ¨I had a boyfriend, and whenever we were walking, or driving, anywhere he would smile at people who passed us or around us. One day, I had asked him why he does that? He responded with, majority of the people who do go suicide said even if someone had just smiled at them, or acknowledged them, they probably would have had another point of view." That is why just being their for someone, sure it might not be the easiest thing to do. Believe me, I do know that, I have a friend who is, indeed, depressed. My mom, in fact, my whole family, has been there for her and her family.
Maybe that is why this quote I saw about someone helping another person, gave me something to write about. I hope you agree with me, that sometime´s all you need is someone to be there for you.
