Reading Reminder:
How do I connect to the story? I can connect to the story because I am human and I can be empathic towards others, such as Haiti after the Earthquake.
What question's do I have about the story? Why can't people be empathic to everyone?
What are my prediction's about the story? Well, in the middle of the video the narrator say's that if we don't become empathic, then that will be the end of us. I think that if people realized this than they would immediately become empathic.
What is my interpretation of the authors opinion? The authors opinion is that we need to be more empathic to other people and not just when they are in trouble, or after an earthquake, but just when they are feeling something we should be able to feel with them.
How can I extend what the author is saying into my life? I can extend this into my life by being more empathic to people around me than I already am, and feel what they're feeling in order to understand them better.
Can I challenge the story? I don't actually think you can challenge the story, Except for maybe why did he need to draw nude people? Did you have to draw and talk quickly? But, I did agree with the story. If we weren't being empathic, or feeling what others feel, it will wipe us out. Some how, we will end up destroying each other.

I agree with the Empathy Civilization video, I agree that when observing someone else's emotion's the human brain recognizes the emotion and feels it too. The video says that once a toddler reaches the age of two, the toddler then can realize it's him looking back from the mirror and can recognize if they feel the same thing that the person they are watching feels. Another example of feeling what someone else feels, in the video, is when watching someone have a spider crawl up their arm, the person observing will feel it too. When watching a television show, the mom had at least four tarantula's clinging to her back, I immediately felt that and cringed. Now, looking up on Bing how to spell tarantula's I became itchy from looking at the pictures of those spiders. That is why I agree with the Empathy Civilization video that when watching someone, most people will feel what that person feels.
